the inspiration for our book title

' Having had the benefit of reading and re-reading aspects of the police inquiry and conviction of Reginald Brown for the murder of Bronia Armstrong in the heart of Brisbane, Queensland, in 1947 - now six decades ago - I have lingering doubts. Such lingering doubts well justify the efforts of Deb and Jan to set the record straight - not only for the sake of their family, but in the public interest. '
